Our Founder

Katrina Owens is the Founder and CEO of Go 2 Consulting, a mission-driven firm specializing in workforce development, organizational strategy, and leadership training. With over 20 years of experience spanning the public, nonprofit, and education sectors, Katrina brings a wealth of insight to helping organizations and changemakers build capacity, navigate transitions, and drive systems-level impact.

A lifelong advocate and practitioner, Katrina’s consulting work is grounded in lived experience. As a single mother who earned multiple degrees while working full-time, she embodies the resilience and determination that fuel her clients’ success. Her academic background and professional journey inform a pragmatic, people-centered approach to problem-solving. Katrina has served as an adjunct professor of psychology and is the author of a nationally published Introduction to Racial Equity curriculum developed for the Rework America Alliance. Her strategic frameworks are informed by behavioral science and real-world application, equipping leaders and organizations with tools to advance equity and drive measurable outcomes.

In addition to her consulting leadership, Katrina is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Adult and Community Education at Ball State University. Her dissertation focuses on the integration of postsecondary education and workforce development at the state level, with a comparative analysis of strategies in Indiana, Tennessee, and North Carolina. This research strengthens her commitment to evidence-based policy, systems alignment, and expanding economic opportunity through education and workforce innovation.
